Object Pronouns Examples in Sentences

See the object pronouns in the sentences. As you can see, the object pronouns receive the actions from the subject of a sentence.

  • John loves me.
  • George loves you.
  • Linda is so beautiful. That’s why, Paul loves her very much.
  • My father is tall and dark. My mother loves him very much.
  • We live in a small village. Everyone in the village knows us well.
  • All of our neighbors are very friendly. We like them very much.
  • They have a cute little cat. They feed it with fish everyday.

Subject Pronouns And Object Pronouns

When we use a personal pronoun in a sentence, we have to make sure we use the correct form of the pronouns, the subject pronouns or object. Let’s see the following tables.

Exercise I

Choose the correct pronoun in the bracket to complete the sentences!
  1. Can you help ( me, I ), please?
  2. I love ( she, her ) very much.

  4. ( We, us ) are the winners.
  5. We could beat ( they, them ) very easily.
  6. I never expect (they, them) to come early.
  7. Why don’t (we, us) wait for (they, them) in front of the gate?
  8. Could you please help (I, me) lift this box?
  9. Do you want (I, me) to call you?
  10. Does she really love (he, him)?

Exercise II

Answer the following questions. Use the correct form of personal pronouns.

  1. Tell us five of your favorite things to do.
  2. Tell us two of your favorite family members.
  3. Write two of your most expensive belongings.
  4. Can you mention parts of your body you want to change if you can.
  5. What are your strength?
